MS. ZUNIGA'S PHILOSOPHY

I thoroughly believe that education promotes human growth in all areas of an individual’s life.  Education, ideally, should offer an environment for a child’s complete growth.  School should be a place where educators are able to promote the overall development of a child in order to grow into complete and successful adults.

As educators, we have an immense influence on our students and on their future success.  Consequently, it is crucial, as an educator of young minds, to be equipped with critical knowledge and adequate resources.  This will ensure that every child has the right to an education that assists their needs and builds upon their strengths.

Each of the academic contents presented to my students equally contributes to their overall development as an individual.  From Physical Education to Science and Mathematics, these content areas build their intellect.  I strive everyday to recognize and educate my student as a whole individual.  We must comprehend and keep in mind that the educational experience of a child is not limited to his/her classroom.  Educational experiences are a combination of school, teachers, parents and home.
